Where?

Where

The festival will take place in beautiful sports complex located in Voiron, 20 kms from Grenoble.

We will have access to beautiful and spacious gym halls and dance studios located directly on a site of 18 hectares of park land and forest

Accommodation is directly on site, in single or double bedrooms.

The sport complex is not located directly in the mountains but is really at the gateway to the Alps. You can go to Grenoble by bus and train in about 30 minutes. From Grenoble you can go to beautiful mountains areas all around. They surround the city. It is worth planning a few more days if you like hiking.

The closest airports are Geneva, Grenoble and Lyon and are served with various low coast airlines (see Getting there)

Food

Food is organized directly by the place. We'll do our best to influence the meals so that they will be balanced and mostly with fresh products. Vegetarians will find what they need on the menu.

Fees

Early registration (before October 1)
- 340€ for the whole festival, including food and accommodation,
- Reduced fees 310€, Support fees 370€ or more
- Please know that the festival economy is pretty tight, the reduced fees is offered to people coming from low economy/ far away only
370€ if you register after October 1st (if it's not all booked !)

Registration

Registration will open on 15th August and will definitely close on 15th of October.
To register, you have to pre-register on the website and then send your deposit. Because of the organization of the place where we will be staying, in order to validate your pre-registration, we do have to ask you to send a deposit of 195€, within the week after you pre-register and at the very latest by 16 October. We are sorry that we will not be able to accept your pre-registration if you don't send the deposit in time
Please note that the deposit is non refundable after 3 October and only partially refundable before that date (see FAQ)

Support

Support is welcome: Please note that the fees barely cover the cost of the festival and that the team is working on a volunteer basis. If you want to support us, you can :

take a membership to Chorescence ( regular 15€, visitor 10€, support 20€ or +)
register with support fees (370€ or more).

CALL for collective support!

The team is organizing the festival on a non-profit basis and would like to enjoy the festival as much as possible! Everybody is asked to participate in the daily organization of the festival and to take care of their individual as much as the collective comfort.

FAQ

Attending the festival

Registration opens on 15 August and closes 15 October.
To register, you have to pre-register on the website and then send your deposit. Because of the organization of the place where we will be staying, in order to validate your pre-registration, we do have to ask you to send a deposit of 195€, within the week after you pre-register and at the very latest by 16 October. We are sorry that we will not be able to accept your pre-registration if you don't send the deposit in time.
You can only register for the whole festival. If you can not come for the whole event, please come on the open day.
We are sorry, but apart from the open day, partial participation is not possible, not even for just coming to the evening jams.
You can come with your kids. (fee= 195€). Organizing collective childcare is an option, but it's up to you! We will put parents in touch before the event.
You are a musician ? Please contact us (info [arobase] 1001festival.fr) to tell us so if you register or if you are thinking about coming to the festival.
I am a beginner in contact improvisation, can I come? Please come! It's amazing way to start

Facilities

There is a sauna that will be open a few evenings during the week (price not included, about 6 euros)

You have to cancel your registration? Please send us a email as soon as possible! If you cancel before 3 October your deposit will be partially refunded. We will refund you 135€. Bank wire transfer fees will be at your charge.. After the 3 October, the deposit is non- refundable
